ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಒಂದೇ ನಾಣ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಮುಖಗಳಿದ್ದಂತೆ. ಮತದಾನವು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಬಲವಾದ ಅಸ್ತ್ರ. ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೇ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದರು ಮುಕ್ತ ಮತದಾನದಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಾಧ್ಯ, ಸಂವಿಧಾನವು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜನರ ಆಶೋತ್ತರಗಳಂತೆಯೇ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರಕಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಮತದಾನವು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ಸುಮಾರು ಆರು ಕೋಟಿ ಇದೆ, ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗ 2018ರ ಪರಿಕ್ಷøತ ಮತದಾರರ ಕರಡು ಪ್ರತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ […]
