About B.PAC: The Bangalore Political Action Committee (B.PAC) is a non-partisan citizen's group that aims to improve governance in Bengaluru and enhance the quality of life of every Bengalurean. B.PAC specifically targets good governance practices, integrity and transparency in all arms of the government, improving the quality of infrastructure in the city, and identification and support of strong candidates for public office at all levels. About B.GREEN: B.GREEN is B.PAC’s urban environment and sustainability vertical, focused on advancing environmental sustainability, socio-economic upliftment, climate resilience and quality of life in Bengaluru. Specifically aimed to address Bengaluru’s environment and sustainability challenges, B.GREEN advances comprehensive solutions via research, advocacy, public education, engagement with citizens, civic and community leaders, experts, and organizations across the city. Position description: The B.GREEN Program Coordinator (PC) oversees all aspects of the B.GREEN program as well as works collaboratively with other B.PAC team members towards common organizational objectives. One of B.GREEN’s flagship initiatives is the Bengaluru Sustainability Manifesto - a bold citizen vision to realize a greener Bengaluru by 2030. The B.GREEN PC will work independently to drive forward the narrative of a need for more comprehensive long term solutions to Bengaluru’s sustainability crisis, in addition to coordinating short term activities and events to advance knowledge, advocacy, and awareness.
