CITIZEN MEETS CANDIDATES

Citizens Meet Candidates is a campaign that B.PAC conducts in order to promote transparency and active civic engagement. Candidates are asked to engage in conversations with members of their respective constituencies in order to maximise transparency and communication. The event presents a remarkable opportunity for both the community and its individuals to develop a personal understanding of the candidate, gaining insight into their views, policies, and plans. This enables citizens to make well-informed decisions regarding their vote, ensuring the candidate they support aligns with their personal beliefs and values. Furthermore, this engagement allows candidates to better understand the concerns, issues, and needs of the community they aim to represent. As a result, they can design policies that directly address those issues, ultimately benefiting the constituency. When a candidate meets with citizens, those who may not have previously held an interest in politics are prompted to become more involved, informed, and aware of political issues.
