B.PAC and the United States Consulate
B.PAC collaborated with the United States Consulate in Chennai to foster mutual understanding and drive community-focused initiatives. This partnership facilitated a rich exchange of ideas and best practices through a variety of programmes and events. Together, we had conducted seminars and initiatives on topics such as demystifying the US election process, understanding US democracy and racism, enhancing women’s leadership and participation in the South Asian political system, and Greenovate Bengaluru.
US Democracy & the Fault Lines of Racism
On 25 February 2021, B.PAC hosted a virtual panel discussion titled US Democracy & the Fault Lines of Racism, focusing on the impact of race and systemic inequality on democratic institutions in the United States. The session was led by Mr. Sam Fulwood III, Senior Fellow and Interim Vice President for Race & Ethnicity at the Centre for American Progress, who provided a nuanced analysis of historical contexts and contemporary challenges within US democracy.
Enhancing Women’s Political Participation and Decision-Making in South Asia
On 21 October 2020, American Spaces organised a virtual panel discussion on Enhancing Women’s Political Participation and Decision-Making in South Asia, examining the barriers and opportunities for women’s leadership across the region. The discussion focused on strengthening representation, enabling inclusive policy frameworks, and promoting meaningful participation of women in political decision-making processes.
Demystifying the US Elections Process
On 17 September 2020, B.PAC organised a virtual panel discussion on Demystifying the US Elections Process to build public understanding of the structure and functioning of the American electoral system. The discussion featured Mr. McCahill, Vice Consul at the US Consulate General, Chennai, and Dr. G. Gopakumar, former Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Kerala, who shared expert insights on democratic institutions, electoral mechanisms, and comparative perspectives.
Women in Leadership: Can They Have It All?
On 26 August 2020, The Logical Indian hosted a Facebook Live discussion on Women in Leadership: Can They Have It All?, bringing together women leaders from diverse sectors to reflect on leadership journeys, entrepreneurship, and work–life balance. The panel featured Ms. Sahar Mansoor, Founder of Bare Necessities; Ms. Mayura Balasubramanian, Founder of Craftizen; and Ms. Harshita Venkatesh, Lead at B.PAC, who shared personal experiences and practical insights on navigating professional and personal roles.
Greenovate Bengaluru
B.PAC organised a virtual panel discussion titled Greenovate Bengaluru to explore innovative approaches to sustainability, waste management, and green urban development. The session brought together a diverse group of experts, including Ms. Leah Bamberger, Director of Sustainability, Mayor’s Office, Providence, Rhode Island; Ms. Revathi, Founder & CEO, Saahas Zero Waste; Mr. Anil, Senior Fellow; Mr. Chandrasekhar Hariharan, Chairman, Zed Homes; Mr. Sharadchandra Lele, Senior Fellow; Ms. Wilma Rodrigues, Founder & CEO, Saahas Zero Waste; Ms. N. S. Rama, CEO, ELCITA; and Mr. Avijit Michael, Executive Director, Jhatkaa, who shared insights on sustainable cities, policy interventions, and citizen-led environmental action.
B.PAC and the British High Commission

B.PAC and the British High Commission in India, jointly organised a panel discussion for International Women’s Day, showcasing our commitment to gender equality in politics. During the event, B.PAC presented research on women’s participation in politics, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Mr Dominic McAllister, the British Deputy High Commissioner, also participated, adding valuable insights to the discussion. This collaborative effort underscored the importance of empowering women in political spheres and fostering inclusive governance.
B.PAC and the Israeli Consulate in South India



B.PAC collaborated with the Israeli Consulate and conducted impactful dialogues focusing on Civic and Political Leadership and the MASHAV programme on the Political Empowerment of Women in 2018. Our partnership also extended to COVID-19 relief initiatives, where we worked together to support the community during the pandemic. Building on this relationship, Ms Orli Weitzman, Consul General of Israel in Bengaluru, along with B.PAC, initiated a meaningful project aimed at donating smartboards to government schools, thereby strengthening digital learning and improving access to quality educational resources for students.
B.PAC and the Consulate of Switzerland
B.PAC, in collaboration with the Swiss Consulate, organised a virtual discussion on public health and fitness, showcasing the successful Bärn Parcours fitness trails initiative from the City of Bern. Held on 29 January 2021, the panel discussion titled “Fitter, Healthier & Happier – What’s on Your List for 2021?” featured Ms. Melanie Spori, Administrator of Services & Events, and Ms. Simone Weber, Head of Services & Events at the Sports Office of the City of Bern, who shared insights on promoting active lifestyles through inclusive urban fitness infrastructure. B.PAC and the Consulate of France

On March 4, 2021, the B.PAC and the Consulate General of France jointly organised a stimulating discussion on “Empowerment of Women in Politics, Governance, and Entrepreneurship” to celebrate International Women’s Day. Held at Alliance Française, Bengaluru. The event highlighted key issues and solutions related to women’s empowerment across various sectors.
B.PAC and the Consulate of Australia

B.PAC, in partnership with Australian Direct Aid (an Australian Consulate-sponsored initiative) and United Way of Bengaluru, launched the B.SAFE: ‘A Billion Eyes’ program to enhance the safety of women and children on 12 march 2015. This initiative aimed to create secure environments in schools and establish a ‘Safety Network for Women’ within specific socio-economic groups. The program was implemented with the support of B.CLIP (B.PAC Civic Leadership Incubator Program) leaders, who played a crucial role in driving these safety measures and fostering a more secure community.
