An initiative to sensitise college students on gender related issues. The gender sensitisation workshop helps examine student's personal attitude and equips them with critical thinking tools. The goal of the program is to make students unlearn sexism, understand patriarchy, be active bystanders and learn essential law & resources to make their college and neighbourhood safer for all.
After the 3 hours of gender sensitisation workshop, students undertake a safety walk around their college premises to identify issues that need to be addressed to make the neighbourhood a safe space. The students are provided a platform to advocate for better infrastructure from elected representatives and duty bearers.
