B.SAFE CONSTITUENCY program is an attempt to make a constituency safer with a focus on the safety and empowerment of women. Through an integrated set of activities like public place audits, community awareness, action plans, and persistent advocacy, these initiatives aim to eliminate gender disparity and facilitate safer assembly constituencies for women.

The program aims to identify, motivate and train female leaders to serve as B.SAFE Ambassadors whose presence can guarantee the disadvantaged women's constant and dependable security. These B.SAFE Ambassadors will be empowered with intensive training and provided access to resources such as police officials, counselling centers, legal support, schemes and loans required for the safety and empowerment of women in their neighborhood.

B.SAFE CONSTITUENCY Phase 1 was successfully carried out in Mahadevapura and Malleshwaram constituencies with the support of the respective MLAs. The findings of the audit report was wholeheartedly accepted by all the stakeholders and the MLAs have agreed to implement the suggestions provided in the report.

It’s time for B.SAFE Constituency Phase 2 to commence in Dasarahalli and Hebbal assembly constituencies.

We’re looking for passionate women leaders who will work as B.SAFE Ambassadors for the safety and empowerment of women in these constituencies.
